Central Park & Millennium Park Move over Hance Park Phoenix is Upgrading!

Hance-Park-Master-Plan

Ok maybe not equivalent but hey it stands out and I live in Phoenix so I am very excited for this. Every now and then the city spends money the right way and this is it! It’s time to put our money in to the heart and soul of our City; DownTown.  Phoenix is always growing out and expanding but it’s too wide spread if you ask me and going back to the center of the city is for the city, but most of all for the great residents of the City of Phoenix who live here and nearby.

Of course we had a party to unveil this project so we kicked the party off with more than 2,000 people attended enHANCE: The New Park Plan at the McDowell Mountain Music Festival pavilion in Hance Park, 1134 N. Central Ave. In addition to unveiling the master plan for the park, enHance had live music, a beer garden, food trucks and other attractions. The proposed master plan for Hance would feature a restaurant, a coffee bar, a beer garden, dog parks, bike amenities, a zip line, exercise paths, a performance pavilion, mixed-use spaces for programming, splash pads, canals and other water features, a skate park, a barbecue area, play areas and shade structures, among other things. The price tag for these upgrades is about $118million.
