Was 2014 not one crazy year for Luxury Home, Fine Estates, and Mansions sales in Arizona?
During 2014 there was 1,132 properties sold with a $1,000,000+ price tag, 80 sold with a $3,000,000+ price tag, 17 with a $5,000,000+ price tag, and the most expensive sale recorded at just shy of $10,000,000 – $9,750,000. Once again it’s no surprise that Silverleaf had 6 of the top 10 home sales, Estancia, Paradise Valley, and Desert Mountain round out the remainder.
Compared to other high end markets lime LA, NY, and Miami we are at a discount. If you come to the Valley of the sun with $3-5 Million you will get what is equivalent to a 20-40 Million dollar home in LA, NY, and Miami.
It’s also time for our list of most expensive zip codes. A report done by Luxury Home Realtor Juan Pesqueira shows that Paradise Valley is still the top Zip code in Arizona when it comes to the number of homes selling for $3 million above. There were 80 homes sold at $3 million or more between January 2014 and December 2014, the latest period measured.
